Hello, little adventurer…
and big adventurer, too.
Welcome to the very first edition of Myth’s Monthly Memo.
A space for us to sit together…
breathe…
and explore the wonders of the world, one story at a time.
I am Mr. Myth.
I watch over the pages.
I hold the ink.
And I am so very glad you are here.
This month… we are talking about something big.
Something that feels like a ROAR, even when it starts as a whisper.
We are talking about Bravery.
A Message from the Map-Maker
Finding courage in the small, quiet moments…

Sometimes, we think being brave means being the loudest.
It means fighting dragons…
or climbing the highest, snow-capped mountains.
But bravery is often much quieter than that.
Bravery is the way your heart thumps when you try a new food.
THUMP-THUMP.
Bravery is the way you hold a crayon and decide to color outside the lines…
just to see what happens.
In our children's story and coloring books, I see bravery every day.
I see it in the way a child chooses a bright purple for a lion’s mane.
I see it in the way a parent reads a story for the tenth time…
staying patient…
staying present.
Bravery is simply saying… "I will try."
It is the magic that happens when you take one small step forward.
Even when your knees feel a little bit like jelly.
Leo’s Little Roar: A Hero in the Savanna
The lion who learned that being different is a superpower…

Let me tell you about a friend of mine.
His name is Leo.
Leo lives in the warm golden plains.
The grass is tall…
it tickles his tummy…
SWISH… SWISH.
In our book, Animals of the World, Leo has a secret.
He doesn't feel like the king of the jungle.
He feels… small.
He looks at the other lions and hears their thunderous roars.
BOOM.
Leo’s roar sounds more like a… squeak.
But Leo is one of our favorite characters in these kids books about bravery.
Why?
Because Leo learns that his voice doesn't have to be loud to be heard.
He learns that his kindness…
his listening ears…
and his willingness to help a friend…
are what make him truly brave.
When you color Leo in your book…
think about your own roar.
Is it a loud ROAR?
Or is it a quiet, gentle hum?
Both are perfect.
Both are needed.
Color Your Courage: The Bravery Badge
Creative activities for preschoolers to celebrate their wins…

Magic isn't just found in books.
It's found at the kitchen table.
This month, we want to help you celebrate the brave moments in your home.
We have created a special Bravery Badge printable coloring page.
Imagine…
a badge that glows with the color of a sunset.
A badge that says, "I tried something new today."
How to make your magic badge:
- Download and Print: Find our printable page on the Mr. Myth Collection website.
- Choose Your Colors: Will your badge be blue like the deep ocean? Or yellow like Leo’s savanna?
- Color with Heart: As you color, talk about a time you felt brave.
Maybe it was going to the dentist.
Maybe it was sharing a favorite toy.
SCRATCH… SCRATCH… goes the crayon. - Wear it Proudly: Cut it out (with a grown-up’s help!) and tape it to your shirt.
This is more than just a drawing.
It is a trophy for the heart.
creative activities for preschoolers like this help turn abstract feelings into something tangible.
Something they can touch.
Something they can be proud of.
Growing Brave Hearts: Tips for Parents
Nurturing courage with a gentle hand and a soft voice…

Watching a child navigate the world can be…
well, it can be a lot.
We want to protect them.
We want to sweep away the shadows.
But we can't always do that.
Instead… we can give them the tools to walk through the shadows themselves.
Here are a few ways to encourage bravery in your little ones:
Name the Feeling… and Hold It.
When your child is scared, don't rush to say "don't be afraid."
Instead… try saying:
"I see that you feel scared. It’s okay. I am right here."
Naming the fear makes it feel smaller.
It gives it a boundary.
Take a Tiny Step… then Another.
If the slide looks too big…
don't push them to the top.
Just climb the first step together.
REACH.
Praise the step, not just the slide.
The effort is where the magic lives.
Model the Roar… even when it Shakes.
Let your children see you try things that make you nervous.
Tell them:
"I feel a little bit worried about this new job, but I am going to try my best."
When they see your courage…
they find their own.
The Power of the Story… and the Page.
Use children's story and coloring books to start conversations.
Ask: "How do you think Pip the Penguin felt when he slipped on the ice?"
"What would you say to Leo the Lion to help him feel brave?"
Coloring together allows for a quiet, side-by-side connection.
It’s a safe space for big thoughts.
The Adventure Never Ends
A final thought for the road…
The world is a very big place.
It can be cold like a sheet of ice.
It can be dense like a quiet bamboo forest.
But you…
you are the adventurer.
You have the map.
You have the crayons.
And you have a bravery that is all your own.
Whether you are reading a story before bed…
or coloring a lion at the kitchen table…
remember that you are growing.
You are learning.
And you are wonderful exactly as you are.
Until next month…
Keep exploring.
Keep coloring.
And keep being brave.
